What are Film Clips?

Exchange Project is working within existing copyright laws or gaining special permission to provide you with brief scenes from commercial films and documentaries. Each film clip will be 2 to 5 minutes long and can be used individually or in conjunction with other clips.

Facilitator’s Guide to download

Before proceeding to the film clips, consider downloading the Facilitator’s Guide that corresponds to each set of film clips to help you plan and manage a discussion with the people who will be watching the clips. As the facilitator or teacher, you can introduce the goals of the session and lead the opening discussion.  After you introduce and play the selected clip, you can facilitate a discussion about the clip. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download the file.

Film Clips

We are seeking permission from the distributors of these films to stream the clips directly on line so that it will be easier for you to watch directly from your computer. In the meantime, we have identified timecodes for the clips of interest so that you may purchase or check out the film and view the relevant segments with your classroom or organization.

There are two types of films we are editing for your use. More will be added in the future.

Commercial films: This includes clips from An Enemy of the People, Erin Brockovich, and A Civil Action.

Documentary films: Currently, film triggers are built around The Corporation. Development of triggers from other documentary films is in process.
